Pisces, the Dreamer, the Mystic, the Poet.. With a Full Moon in this sign, conjunct its ruler, Neptune (rx), we can enjoy very potent creative, almost otherworldly, energy. Dreamy, imaginative, and tuned into the spirit world, we are ready to rest, and to receive the visions our souls are searching for.
With Mercury, planet of communication, reason, thinking, and logic, stationing retrograde, the doors are further flung open to give us access to our own creativity.
To set aside time now for our own creative processes and dreams is a powerful message to the Universe that we are open to receiving healing, visions, and knowing beyond our rational understanding.
When we power through moments like these, gripping too tightly to our agendas and to-do lists, sometimes the Universe forces a “time out”. Please, take care to slow your pace now… literally moving/driving/speaking more slowly is wise.
Scheduling time to be creative, or engage in a spiritual practice that draws your heart will be vastly rewarding. Sleep a little more, think a little less… make space for dreaming.
This 3 week period of Mercury’s retrograde (Sept 9 - Oct 2) is an opportunity to reflect on who, and what we are in relationship to. Collaborations, joint projects, significant relationships, and/or our creative endeavors. There are great ideas that want to come through us… but there’s a little more groundwork to be laid…. A little more planning, a little more analyzing, a few more details to get in order. Specifically regarding relationships… Are there some in which we need to learn to balance courteousness with assertiveness? Are we playing victim or martyr to a person or a cause? If so, time to back up, rework the framework, so that we can find balance and equality.
Oh! I forgot to mention in the video… Happy Fall Equinox! September 22 marks the time of the year when light and dark are equal. In the Northern Hemisphere, we are moving towards the darkness… towards a time when nights will be longer than days. A lovely reflection on the 22nd may be to contemplate what we’re ready to release and let go of.
