Happy Full Moon in Capricorn!

Capricorn asks the question, “What are we building?”  The seeds of what’s coming to fruition now were planted with the Capricorn New Moon, back in January. And, because Capricorn is about the long game, this can be an important check in point in the longer scope of our lives.

So much is shifting in the heavens now!  Mercury is stationing retrograde today, in the sign of Cancer.  Questions of home and family are on the forefront of our minds. Often a question arises at the beginning of Mercury’s retrograde cycle.  The three weeks that follow are a time to go inward and listen, to sort through all of the information that develops over a three week period.  Mercury meets the heart of the Sun on Sunday, July 12.  Pay extra close attention around this time. On the 23rd of July Mercury stations Direct.

Jupiter, in the last moments of the final degree of Cancer is putting exclamation marks on these themes of home, family, parents, children, nurturing, belonging…

Later tonight, right after the Full Moon, Jupiter moves into Leo!!  The mood shifts, and we embark on a year of focusing on how we shine in our authenticity.  What are we creating, and does it truly reflect who we are?  How do we wish to beam our love into the world?

Currently ruled by Mercury, in the sign of Gemini, Mars and Uranus are preparing for a conjunction this Friday, July 3rd. Mars, ever antsy for action, tends to make its presence felt early.  We’ve already begun seeing destabilization with an increase in earthquakes. The Earth is exemplifying the nature of this conjunction for us.  It shakes things up with unexpected events to help us determine our priorities. In Gemini, and at the beginning of a Mercury retrograde cycle, it may pose questions, and bring realizations that are best met with an open, curious mind.  If things feel uncomfortable, consider not rushing out of the discomfort, but meeting it with presence, and patience for the process.j

In the wee hours of the morning on July 7, Neptune stations retrograde. The days surrounding Neptune's station are best met with stillnes. Silence. Meditation. This is a time to receive visions and key insights, as Heavenly wisdom is a little closer to Earth.

Chiron has just moved into the sign of Taurus.  A very slow moving body, Chiron will take its time teaching us how to identify and work through places we have felt a lack of security, so that we can become solid and grounded in ourselves.  Everything in the heavens is connected, and nothing happens by coincidence.  With the cosmic fireball meeting the lord of earthquakes and lightning bolts (Mars and Uranus) shaking things up, there is a need deep within each of us now to ground and center our physical bodies, as well as connect firmly with our inner agency, our foundations, the solid rock within that can’t be shaken.  Chiron in Taurus will teach us the practice of inner peace.

Whew!  This is a lot of moving, interconnected parts.  As above, so below. And with this Full Moon, what are we building?  Is it in alignment with our intentions? Our integrity?  What’s the goal?  What do we want to see in ten years? And what is the work needed to continue bringing a masterpiece into manifestation?!

Wishing you a very happy Full Moon in Capricorn!
