Musings On... the New Moon in Gemini

Hi Fam!  Happy New Moon in Gemini!  Whew!  Moon in Gemini can be a busy time!  I’m squeaking this in at the last minute, but wanted to get it out to you none the less.  

New Moon in Gemini… 

A time to renew our thinking… the soil of our minds is fertile now, ripe for new, and renewed ideas to flow though.  Naturally, as thinking changes, the way we communicate does as well.  Speech follows thought (hopefully not the other way around!)

This is an out of bounds Moon, encouraging us to move beyond the limitations we imagine to be true based on our upbringing, conditioning, or emotional/psychological wounding. 

With Mercury in Cancer our thought patterns around the way we nurture ourselves, and others, is up for review.  This could also bring topics related to early childhood, family, home, belonging, etc.. and how our sense of security and self-worth is tied in. (sextile Mars in Taurus). Square Saturn in Aries, these are themes that were formative to our identity, and now we have an opportunity to rebuild ourselves, in alignment with our new perceptions.

 Mercury will station retrograde at the end of the month, and already it has moved into shadow territory, or the ground it will fall back upon. Events that arise around this New Moon will be thematic for our Mercury retrograde adventure. 

With Uranus square to the nodes, our new ways of thinking, and communicating are meant to break up old patterns.  New neural pathways are ready to be blazed and paved.  This could be a lunar month that shakes things up a bit.  It’s that shaking up that makes space for a fresh start. Look for synchronistic events that challenge, and perhaps change, your inner narratives. 

If you have planets in the early degrees of the mutable signs, circumstances may be revealing that you're ready to let go of patterns of over extension that are rooted in self-doubt, and embrace the knowing that your worth is simply in being. And that being means being one with all of creation, in all of its beauty and glory.

Curiosity is a superpower now. Be wildly curious about life. Follow your nose and who knows what insights and meaningful  messages may be uncovered that are of value.  Keep your ears open, listen (not just with your ears) deeply to Life as it unfolds. The unaspected nature of this New Moon, along with the out of bounds quality of the Moon, and the presence of Uranus in Gemini squaring the karmic axis, all lend an "anything could happen" feel, with a touch of wild magic.

Jupiter and Chiron are both about to move into different signs.  This will support change as the energetic “feel” of things will shift.  Chiron at the 29th degree of Aries highlights the opportunity to heal the way we identify with ourselves, and how we move forward in the world. Square Jupiter in Cancer, we get access to our feelings around early origins formative forces in our lives. Pluto is in a wide opposition to Jupiter, and square to Chiron, adding a deeper resonating frequency of long term trasformative work that, when tended to, brings us home to the vibrancey of our personal lifeforce.
