Musings On... the New Moon in Leo...

and Total Solar Eclipse

Aloha, 

Tomorrow morning we have a New Moon in Leo, along with a Total Solar Eclipse.

Leo ~ core identity, creative self-expression, authenticity

New Moon ~ New Beginnings

Eclipse ~ bookends chapters in our lives, can bring change

South Node Eclipse ~ releasing, letting go

Putting this together: this New Moon marks a time of change in our core identity, through the releasing of some aspect of who we’ve been, that makes way for  a more authentic version of ourselves, and our creative capacities. 

Because we’re working with the Moon’s nodes what is coming up is karmic in nature.  In other words, it will address our evolutionary blind spots… the patterns that have been on repeat in our lives that aren’t helping us move forward and grow. This is what wants to leave. 

There can be an intensity about this since we’re talking about change at the very foundation of who we are.  This will also impact the way we relate to other people in our lives, since we’ll be operating from a new foundation. 

This is the first of two eclipses, they come in pairs. The second, a partial lunar eclipse, will come with the Full Moon on the 27th.  The time between can bring interesting turns of events.  The recommendation is to stay present.  It’s not necessarily the time to begin the brand new thing, if it can be put off until after the Full Moon.  But sometimes we flow with Life, and it has its own timing.  

Let’s tune in to the highest version of ourselves,  and be with what is from that perspective. If you’re feeling this energetically, emotionally, or any other way, please take good care and be gentle with yourself. Staying present to what is unfolding is so key.
