One foot on solid ground
The earth beneath me split
I surge with all my strength and might
In mid-air it’s too late to quit
I have to land on the other side
Now only space beneath me lies
Can’t imagine the fright of a fall
Or what awaits across the divide
In times of transition uncertainty looms large, we grieve what we leave behind. We don’t know the landscape ahead. When there’s only air beneath our feet, it can feel like we’re falling.
What used to work for us does no longer. We need to do things differently but we’re not sure how. Change is needed.
On the surface we might experience some change in our resource base or environment at this time. There’s a focus on work, and setting ourselves up financially. At its heart though, this lunition is about finding serenity, and deep, unshakable security. It’s about claiming our path forward. Mars in Pisces sextiles the New Moon and Uranus, reminding us that what we believe holds creative power in our lives.
Venus sextiles Pluto retrograde, and Mercury in Gemini. As layers of old wounds and fears surface to be shed, they hold key messages for us. With patience we’re primed to receive a vision of what changes are needed, and what a purposeful path forward looks like, smells like, and tastes like! Nurture the senses with this Luntion. Let the body be both a messenger and our grounding force. This is an eclipse, so rather than a time for action, it’s a great time to rest, nurture ourselves, and pay attention to the messages that arrive.
Wishing you all the best. Happy New Moon in Taurus!
