Musings On... the (2nd) Full Moon in Capricorn 2024

Sunday, July 21 at 12:17am Hawaii Time

Honestly... there's too much to write! Please watch the video!

For those who really want the nutshell version I'll try. This Moon cycle began with the New Moon in Cancer on July 5th. The Moon is at home in Cancer so this feels like a potent cycle. Our Full Moon on the 21st is the 2nd Full Moon in Capricorn this year! (Blue Moon?? Sure feels that way)

With the New Moon we talked about relationships, especially familial and close friendships, mirroring our shadows through emotional triggers. The idea is that we follow the trigger (not fun) to find our blind spots. Then, we set aside the ego (Mercury in Leo opposing Pluto) to adapt our perspective. (Mercury sextile Jupiter in Gemini). Then Mercury in Leo can express itself genuinely, and creatively, in a new light.

Smack dab in the middle of this Lunar cycle we have a special event. Mars will be conjunt Uranus in Taurus on July 15 (in the wee hours of the morning here in Hawaii). Uranus is the bringer of change, aimed at helping us live according to our piorities. It often (not always) works by bringing unexpedted changes that feel chaotic and bring dissarray into our lives. The idea is that when the slate is cleared, we can draw something new. This planet loves to inspired insights, revelations, and ah-ha's! Mars brings adrenaline, It is pioneering energy, and requires courage. The combo is perhaps turbulant, chaotic, and definately exciting!

With these two planets in the sign of Taurus (Earth) we are breaking new ground in order to become more secure (Taurus) inside oursleves, and with our lives. This may look like financial security, but at its heart is a deep, abiding sense of self-worth, and the tranqillity that comes with it. In the context of this Lunar cycle, it has to do with becoming more secure in ourslelves wihin our relationshps. Sooo... what in your life may feel like its breakingdown (Uranus), and how can that be reframed as a breakthrough?? Or what insights are you receiving about how you can level up your personal evolution by taking more responsibility for yourself in the context of your relatinships? Note: the breakdown is not a prerequisite for the breakthrough... it just sometimes happens that way. *** for house by house explanation, please watch the video**

Fastforward to the (2nd) Full Moon in Capricorn on July 21. Capricron loves a challenge. Through challegnes it cultivates perserverence and discipline that, step by step, take us to the mountaintop of our lives. Autonomy born of true grit, sheer effort, an unwillingness to give up.... these are Capricornian traits. Capricorn teaches us to act according to our goals, rather than our feelings. It teaches us to take responsibiltiy for our lives.

Who do we want to be in the world vs how we feel about ourselves when we're triggered?

The Full Moon is conjucnt Pluto retrograde in Aquarius. When we face the challenge of feeling our triggers (as mirrored by our loved ones), allow those feelings to inform us of our blindspots, set the ego aside, adapt our perspetive, and express ourselves genuinely from our new mindset, THEN we calim the Plutoian, transforative power, and we are whole. Whewww!!! It's harrrrd to change! There's resistance to changing. And its powwwwerrrrfullll! Plutionian power is potent, becuase it comes by walking through the flames, and from learning not to be spooked by our shadows. IN Aquarius it asks us to more deeply own our truth, regardless of the opposition we may encounter for it. We are stepping into the full potential and power of our souls, which ARE LOVE. Pure, Firey, Divine, Creative Love.

Ok... that's all for now... maybe more closer to the Full Moon... maybe not. ; ) If you want to know how to pull up your own chart so you can see how these events line up in your life, reach out and I'll show you how. Or... just pay attention to life, heehee.... Astrology will help us get the drift.

Love ya'll! Happy Full Moon, Blue Moon? 2nd Capricorn Moon!
