Integration, and struggle.  These are the two words that came to me as I initially surveyed this chart.

That is the nature of opposition, and there are two key oppositions with this Full Moon in Aquarius.

First, Mercury is stationing direct in Leo, opposing Pluto retrograde in Aquarius.  I find this amusing, (ask me later if I still feel this way), simply because Leo is a drama queen, and I can’t think of a more dramatic station than opposite Pluto!

The idea here is that at the point of station, (stillness), before moving direct, we’re meant to integrate the deeper material we’ve been mulling over for the last three weeks.   Please take time to pause, and reflect, on the Leo lessons learned in this last bit of the retrograde.  Consider looking back at the New Mono in Leo blog for prompts. With Leo we’re talking about the formation of the self, the personality, the ego.  Who are we?  When we’re unhindered and unharmed, when we’re disarmed and authentic, who are we?  Underneath the stress, the fear, the anxiousness, underneath the noise, the chaos, underneath the bliss and the excitement, the striving and the social status… underneath the daily life, who are we?  AND, Leo is about the development of COURAGE.  The courage to shine, unhindered and unashamed. How have we been developing in these areas of our lives?  Have we been able to name and contend with any of the inner shadows that would keep us small? What are the biggest takeaways from the last 3 weeks?

If we take the time to pause, reflect, maybe journal… What are the biggest takeaways?  That is what is wanting to be integrated into our lives, really absorbed into the marrow of our being, so that we can live it,*be*  it, and do it.

The Full Moon in Aquarius depends on that Leo seed in order to come to fruition.  The Moon in Aquarius shines the authentic self  out into the collective, and in so doing taps into something much bigger than the individual self. With a solid Leo foundation we don’t get lost out there, we shine, and contribute to the greater light of Life.  We know ourselves, we have the courage needed to take our stand, to live our highest truth, regardless of our surroundings, and regardless of the opinionated collective sway. We develop the courage needed for that kind of vulnerability. Does that make sense?  We can only really contribute when we show up as ourselves, and then, connected to the collective, our contribution is multiplied, amplified larger than it ever could have been on our own.

Ok, I said there are two key oppositions, and I’ve only mentioned one.  The other is Mars in Libra opposing the Saturn/Neptune (retrograde) conjunction in Aries. As Mars moves into Libra our passion, focus, and desire shifts from work into the realm of realtoinships. We'll be wanting to make a stand for equinimity and cohesiveness in our partnerships. But opposed by Saturn, Mars can feel stuck. It may be wise to give relational negotiatons a bit of a breather between now and the Full Moon, honoring the space needed for ourselves and others from time to time. Our relationshps may begin creating opporutinies for us to practice what we've learned these last few weeks. Saturn encourages us to take responsilibity for our share in our partnerships.

There's more. In the video I talk about the nature of this ongoing Saturn/Neptune dance.  The high objective of their dance is to feel a new dream forming in our higher consciousness (Neptune) and to understand the discipline and practical steps needed to manifest it into reality (Saturn).  The process involves recognizing and releasing false illusions.  This is a process that we’re all in between now and February 2026.  In the moment of the Full Moon, Mars in Libra opposes this configuration. The story that comes to mind for me is the Hawaiian creation story of Papa and Wakea.  Papa is the Earth Mother, and Wakea is the Sky God.  Their union created the stars (Ho’ohokukalani, was their daughter’s name, Goddess of the Stars) From her, two siblings came.  The first child was Kalo, or the first taro plant.  The second son was the first human born. These two brothers had an interdependent relationship.  The younger was tasked with caretaking the older plant brother, who in turn, fed the younger brother (humanity).

The point that I want to focus on in this story is that while the union of Papa and Wakea ultimately produced New Life, in the process there was great chaos. Jealousy, anger, resentment, and distrust were also born.  Moving through these feelings was a messy, muddy process.  The friction created the spark of new life.

Creation is messy, muddy, and hard. But I guess sometimes we have to “pick our hard”.  Choosing not to grow, but to stay the same, is also hard, but with undesired consequences.  Saturn is co-ruler of this Full Moon, as as my teacher says, with Saturn we “choose our hard”.

Uranus, newly in Gemini,  is also co-ruler of this Full Moon, and these two co-rulers are in a sextile aspect to one another.  Now we’re getting into the material I didn’t cover in the video.  While Uranus is in Gemini  (about 7 years) we’re learning a whole new, revolutionary way of thinking, processing, and communicating. But let me back up a sec, and say that there are two gorgeous formations in the sky with this Full Moon.  First, a minor triangle (2 sextiles and a trine ) between Saturn/Neptune rx, Uranus, and Pluto rx.  And, a grand Air trine between Uranus, Pluto rx, and Mars.

I’m going to nut-shell all of this and say there is great, synchronistic, Spiritual support for a shift, and upgrade,  in consciousness now.  As we wrestle with this process we really are creating new Life, probably bigger than we can even imagine.

It involves a whole new way of thinking, being, and living.

So, go on with yourself!  You beautiful Lions and Lionesses!  Get out there and shine your true light out into the world, Aquarian style ~ as unique as you are!  Will you do it perfectly? Of course not! Take the pressure off.  Baby steps are great.   Is there risk involved in this kind of vulnerability?  Yes.  And, is it worthwhile to grow in this way?  Absolutely.  You are COURAGEOUS!

I’m so curious… curious to see how the world changes because of you being you.  The world needs your genius. You are an epiphany of Creation!

Happy Full Moon in Aquarius!
