Musings On... the Full Moon in Sagittarius

Aloha Dear Ones,

I’m writing you a little love letter for this beautiful Full Moon in Sagittarius.

So please, pour yourself a cup of tea, and take a rest. In the quiet moments, as opportunities for contemplation arise, consider asking yourself, “what breakthroughs have I had in the last two weeks? What challenges did I face, and come through stronger on the other side? What silver linings have I discovered? When and how has an attitude of curiosity, rather than fear, served my higher good?”

Jupiter, ruler of this Full Moon, has just entered the sign of Cancer. Healing is often an ongoing process that happens in layers and cycles. This next year will offer us plenty of opportunity to lovingly connect with our own inner child and bring healing to the deepest parts of ourselves, as well as within family systems.  It may give us a renewed perspective on home, and what it means to belong. 

Here, in this moment, it’s useful to consider that since the New Moon we may have been called to squarely face fears, and stressful situations, that have required us to act according to  our highest intentions, rather than our knee jerk reactions to stress. Jupiter in Cancer squares Saturn in Aries. Responding to life in our integrity doesn’t always feel easy, but it brings healing, and increases our faith in life. 

A Full Moon in Sagittarius wants exactly this!  It wants  us to get out there and live! To experience life, to learn as we go, and to allow the process to increase our faith, as well as inform our perspective.  

True freedom comes, not just from luck, but from doing the hard work of tending to ourselves on a daily basis. It comes from each small choice to get out of bed in the morning, and  live according to who we want to be in the world, and what we wish to create. 

I’m hoping as you reflect on challenges that you’ve faced, and moved through, you’ll see how you’ve become more confident, capable, and wise on the other side. I’m hoping you’ll discover the silver linings that are pure gold!
